Farhene's turtle

My little sister used her geometry stencils to create a turtle; I decided to paint it. I love her.

A Scene from Muharraq

Inspired by a restored courtyard in the Muharraq area of Bahrain, this painting was a gift for my friend Mariam. This is my first painting in 4 years so it was kind of hard to get into it, but hopefully I'll be painting more now.

The Mermaid (2002)

I will be MIA until I'm all settled in and done with moving. The fun thing about moving is all the stuff that resurfaces- which is why I'm posting this 7+ year old piece. Mosaic medium (nothing fancy- I got my squares from fashion magazines). Click to see larger image.

Tea (2004)

Not that great of an etch if I may say so myself. The medium was basically...blades and etching tools on scratch board. It was a pain to do and I'm never scratching again, my mind can't think in negative and I prefer drawing.A little fun with photoshop.

Daffodils in Acrylic (2004)

I don't remember which came first, the poem or the painting.
This was about 3 feet by 2 feet, and I wasn't very creative with the title as the medium was acrylic.
